Helene 1. Bob 0.

Our Bula on the Beach tribe,

We are devastated to say that our beloved kava bar suffered major damage by Hurricane Helene, along with so many we know. We are currently closed assessing damage and figuring out our next steps. Bula on the Beach has lived on Madeira Beach for almost 10 years, creating an insanely beautiful community, new families, many memories, and so much more all powered by plants and friendship that grew over time to reach so many, and to many other bars. We are so proud of all this work, and proud of you all and our employees for giving us those memories and community, and seeing how everyone comes together in times like this. We’re doing our best as we move forward and figure out the future. We love you guys and we are praying hard for everyone affected.

Bula Kafe is open and we would love for you to come by, seeing your faces there in this time has been great. We are also setting up a relief website for any of our Bula on the Beach regulars who were severely impacted that made Bob their home base kava bar these past years.  We would like to help how we can- please use the link below and we will reach out to you.

We’re here with you all and thank you again for beautiful memories and everything you all brought to Bula on the Beach. Thank you to our amazing staff for their hard work and dedication to Bula and everyone around them. There are still many beautiful sunsets to come, even if it takes time and looks a little different.

So much love and prayer
Thank you all
